Many of Finland’s travel products and services are based in the arctic region and depend on weather conditions, making them highly vulnerable to climate change. Protecting our number one asset makes sense for our living conditions, culture, financially and humanity as a whole. Known for its thousands of lakes and vast wildernesses, Finland is a year-round adventure travel destination which offers multiple unique adventures. In this webinar we will introduce you select seasonal activities such as remote wilderness ice skating, winter biking, excursion skating, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice swimming, and unique wilderness huts. Our previous webinar introduced the Sustainable Travel Finland program (STF), which provides companies and destinations with a sustainable development path; a concrete toolkit for sustainable tourism that makes it easier to adopt sustainable practices and choices in everyday business. In this webinar, you'll learn more about:

  • Why sustainable travel is so vital for an arctic destination like Finland
  • What sustainable winter specialities Finland has to offer for conscious adventure travelers
  • The Sustainable Travel Finland (STF) program, label, and organizations who take on the program's credentials

This webinar will be recorded and shared with with those who register. Registration is required.
