The Florida Keys is an archipelago of coral islands off the southern tip of Florida and just 90 miles from Cuba. The region includes the Everglades National Park to the north and Fort Jefferson - Dry Tortugas National Park, which sits 70 miles out to sea in the Gulf of Mexico (the most remote and inaccessible National Park).
